The DARC Lab (~1200 sq. ft.) in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Utah houses state-of-the-art equipment for conducting research in the area of design, automation, robotics and control systems. Applications of the work include high-precision positioning systems, bio-inspired autonomous systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Utah Robotics Center: Large Robotics Lab (shared lab)
Downstairs from the DARC Lab is the Utah Robotics Center’s Large Robotics Lab, a shared space for robots and projects that need more elbow room. The Large Robotics Lab is located in the high-bay are of the Rio Tinto Kennecott (MEK) Building on the main University of Utah campus.
